Yorkshire Pictures: The Fylingdales Group at Beverley Art Gallery

Article text
In 1925, The Fylingdales Group of Artists was formed in Robin Hood's Bay with just 8 members. Their aim was simply 'to exhibit Yorkshire pictures'.
Today the Fylingdales Group has 22 members, including Niamh Hanlon, scattered all over the Yorkshire region. The group celebrated their 80th anniversary in 2012 and cite their 'love of Yorkshire, its coastline and of painting' as the bond that unites them.
